Classes are designed for:
"Sarah, I can't begin to tell you how important this class has been in my healing. After experiencing a long plateau, your class was the missing piece of the puzzle from the first time I attended. It helped me turn the corner to begin functioning again. Thank you for sharing your work with us!"
- Kris
"Your class today was amazing! I already signed up for the next one. My day was going horribly and your class turned it all around. I honestly can't remember the last time I felt that relaxed. And for the first time in a long time, I feel like my chronic illnesses don't have the last word. So appreciative of you pouring your time and love into this! God bless you and the good work you are doing!"
- A.NON.
"Release, Rewire, and Restore has brought so much healing to my 2021 than I ever dreamed possible. I feel so much safer in my body than I did this time last year. I am unbelievably hopeful that joining Restore in 2022 will bring even deeper levels of healing. I can't thank you enough for letting Jesus use you to restore what has been lost. Praise be."
- A.NON.
"Thank you so much, Sarah, for your beautiful class today! What an amazing experience, wow! I entered the class with neck tension and digestive distress and the exercises helped both of those issues. I was not expecting that! My neck range of motion also increased a lot after the gentle neck exercise you guided us through. I feel so blessed to have been a part of it today. I can't thank you enough. Looking forward to participating again!"
- Melissa

The nervous system governs every bodily system - from our immune, digestive and endocrine systems to our muscles, blood vessels, and cells.
An unhealthy nervous system can play a significant role in causing and perpetuating chronic systemic illness and mental health challenges like anxiety and depression.
But when we consistently release stored trauma and rewire the brain, we restore the nervous system to a healthy baseline where the body can properly fight infection, heal the gut, balance hormones, healthily regulate inflammation levels, and repair at a cellular level.
The monthly class will help you begin to gently release stored trauma, rewire your brain, and step into soulful rest.
"These classes have been so helpful to me and are honestly the best money I've spent on my journey to healing!"
Class will run approx. 1.5 hours -- 75 minutes of practice and 15 minutes of Q&A
No, recordings are only available to members of RESTORE.
Yes! So be sure to download Zoom before class. It’s free and simple to download. I recommend coming to class 10-15 minutes earlier to make sure Zoom is working before getting ready for class.
All classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. My holistic healing toolkit, RESTORE, makes all class recordings available to members.
This practice is best done in comfortable clothes on the floor, although if you need to stay in bed you can modify your practice and participate from bed.
For a floor set up, I recommend laying out an exercise mat or the equivalent (like a blanket) and having a pillow and extra blanket.
For those who need extra support, this work is best done in a firm chair, like a dining room chair.
Try to make your set up as comfortable and cozy as possible!
Traumatization is less about what happened to you and more about how your nervous system integrated your experience(s).
Trauma occurs when the nervous system does not effectively integrate a stressful experience or set of experiences.
In a healthy scenario, a person:
Problems arise when the body is not able to properly discharge the energy it generated to mobilize you to deal with threat.
This energy can stay in the body for days, weeks, or even years, and the body gets stuck in survival mode.
This unresolved trauma then shifts the brain into a survival state, which alters your perception of the world and impacts physical health. Signs of unresolved trauma include:
If you have any questions or concerns related to somatic practice, please seek advice from your doctor before participating.
We tend to associate trauma with catastrophe, but even without exposure to catastrophe, there’s a good chance you have some level of trauma held in your body. Almost everyone does.
Beyond obvious traumas like abuse, divorce, death, war, and illness, trauma might look like:
Surgery, a car accident, or giving birth
Stress in utero — if your mom was sick or experiencing overwhelming stress
Chronic stressors and the fast pace of modern life
A childhood home that felt unsafe – parents who disliked each other, parental pressure to perform perfectly
Trauma inherited epigenetically — if someone in your lineage experienced trauma, you can carry the impact of trauma in your genes
The resources I offer are for everyone who wants to address the effects of stress, chronic conditions, and trauma.
This is not an exercise class; instead, it will guide you through gentle movements and sensory practices designed to help your body discharge stored stress, rewire your brain, and nourish your soul.
All practices can also be adapted for your unique limitations, and most of the exercises can be done from bed.
If you have any questions or concerns related to somatic practice, please seek advice from your doctor before participating.
This class does not address the emotional, spiritual, and mental implications of trauma the way my holistic healing toolkit, RESTORE, does, nor is it a replacement for therapy, coaching, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, neurofeedback, or any other professional medical or mental health care.
Instead, this class is best thought of as an in-home, educational resource to complement to the other work you’re doing.
If you have any questions or concerns related to somatic practice, please seek advice from your doctor before participating.
Yes! This work is somatic, which means I will not guide you to think about your life’s traumas, losses, or stressors. Instead, you’ll learn to connect to your body and environment and signal safety to your survival brain.
If you have any questions or concerns related to somatic practice, please seek advice from your doctor before participating.
My monthly membership, RESTORE, will open to new membership in the new year!
